Organic locally produced fruit and vegetables from the local greengrocers, fresh fish (fishing trips can also be arranged) from the fishermen on the beach or the fishmongers in the village, locally reared meat, poultry and award winning bacon from the butchers!

There is a wonderful beach with rock pools and caves patronized by local surfers, fishermen and holiday makers alike. Local inns include the wonderful “Driftwood Spars” which as well as being a truly Cornish Pub with all the paraphernalia one associates with that also serves delicious, locally farmed, caught and bred food. It is also host to a vibrant live music scene.

St Agnes is home to some dynamic and successful companies and institutions such as Finisterre clothing (awarded the Observer ecological company of the year award), it is the birthplace and centre of operations for "Surfers against Sewage" whose campaign for clean, safe recreational waters, free from sewage effluents, toxic chemicals and nuclear waste is now a world-wide endeavor.
